Many will remember 2011 as the year of Novak Djokovic’s dominance on the ATP Tour. He’s found a way to move past the bratty, diva behaviour to aspire to become a media darling like his rivals Rogers Federer and Rafael Nadal. Novak is not the only male player to emerge from Serbia who can hit a mean ball and also cut a mean photograph as well. Janko has been a solid player on the tour for many years; he gave Federer eveyrthing he could handle back in 2008 at the Aussie Open (which his country man won) and stepped in to cover for Murray after his Withdrawal from this year’s ATP Final. He’s my player of the moment — has all the shots, is easy on the eyes and Tennis Served Fresh has a great montage dedicated to him which is worth checking out. Like Mario Ancic (retired, graduated law school) Janko is an academic, with deep knowledge of philosophy. Enjoy!
